Within this web site are photographs, drawings, logos, and clip art. Except for the public domain images, these images and graphics are fully credited to comply with copyright requirements, recognize the contributions of the image creators, and because all have stories related to surviving cancer.
The A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. is especially excited to be able—through its contributors, sponsors, and volunteers—to bring you once again in their own voices, the survivor stories of children who have cancer or whose lives have been touched by cancer.

R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir choreographer Charlotte Labuda first drew this logo for the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. (AWWWF) in 1999 based on a rough sketch created by Brenda Rider and Janeen Williams on the back of a restaurant placemat during a brainstorming lunch.

The logo has since appeared on all material published by the Foundation, including the new LIFE MAXX™ comic book. The logo represents the many ways the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. provides a means to express cancer struggle and survival. It began with song writer and poet Brenda M. Rider's encounter with cancer and her reaching out to fellow patients and their support networks of families and friends. The logo symbolizes the beginning, present, and future of the Foundation goals and projects.

As part of the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. (AWWWF) logo, the silver feather symbolizes the original authorship of works published by the Foundation. Brenda M. Rider writes poetry and lyrics and songs. She composes the musical scores for the titles sung by the R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir. Brenda donates her works to the Foundation as part of her cancer survival and to share with others in their struggles and triumphs.
