AWWWF BENEFIT GARAGE SALE !!!

Halloween has another surprise goodie for you this year --- a Garage Sale to benefit the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 31 and November 1, the garage sale will be open for holiday shoppers and anyone looking for just the right thing while helping children affected by cancer.
At the sale, you will find furniture, electronics, house wares, toys, holiday decorations, a washing machine, and more! Donations of gently used items are still being accepted for this fun event that benefits everyone.
The AWWWF Benefit Garage Sale is being held at 4032 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, Ohio, just east of the Wickliffe Avenue Fire Station. The use of the building has been graciously donated for an indefinite period to the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. by Jim Steiner, Jr. When we added a warehouse to our wishlist we never imagined that it would lead to this fantastic beginning!
Money raised from this event enable the R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir to take their message and joy to the community. Proceeds also help to raise cancer awareness, assist local cancer programs, and of course, support cancer research.

Rainbow of Ribbons
Race and Fun Run

The first Rainbow of Ribbons Race and Fun Run for the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. was held Saturday, October 4, 2008 in downtown Youngstown, Ohio. The R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir sang the National Anthem.

The winner of the 5k Ribbons Race was a tie between Eric Turner and Mike Stigenbauer, both from Cleveland, Ohio. Andy Yantes of Austintown, Ohio finished second. For those who missed this year's benefit contest, watch for your chance next year.

Brenda Rider, co-founder of the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc., co-wrote the song "Rainbow of Ribbons" that has become the official Relay for Life song of the American Cancer Society. In keeping with the theme that the Foundation covers all cancers, the rainbow of colors was used for this event to designate concern for all those who have been touched by cancer.
