"When all the doubts surround you like a thick fog in the night
I will be the beacon
who guides you

Your friend,
the keeper of the light."

-- Charlotte Louise Labuda

About Donations | R.O.C.c.K. Choir Wish List | Foundation Wish List

Wish Lists
The people who work with the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. (AWWWF) and the R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir are often asked what others can do for the children and families who have been touched by cancer. Current projects of the Foundation include:

  • publishing anthologies of the voices of cancer patients and cancer survivors
  • providing a coping resource through the R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir music CDs and performances
  • further educating cancer patients about cancer treatments through comic books
  • increasing awareness of cancer through all of the Foundation's activities
  • raising money for cancer research

All monies received through the fundraising efforts go back to the R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir and to the ongoing projects like a hospital library for juvenile cancer patients. To give you some idea of how much we spend to accomplish our goals, here are a few expenses related to publishing. The cost to make a full-length, professionally-produced music CD available to the public is about $8800.00. It takes around $4790.00 to publish one poetry anthology, and over $6500.00 is required to produce one comic book edition.

Here are some items on our WISH LIST for current and future projects. Check here for periodic updates. Contact A Way With Words Foundation if you have any questions or suggestions that can help us help others.
